LOOKING GOOD
EYES
Eyeshadow defi nes eyes, and eyeliner gives the illusion of fuller
lashes. Brows can be recreated using a simple pencil technique
Eyeshadow
> Choose neutral, matte eyeshadow shades. Use two shades,
one medium and one darker.
> Sweep the lighter shade over the entire lid from eyelash line
to eyebrow area.
> Apply the deeper colour in the crease, moving to outer corner
of lid and back along lash line to the iris, in a sideways V.
> Blend well with a cotton swab to soften the effect.
Eyeliner
> When eyelashes are sparse or temporarily lost because of
treatment, applying eyeliner to the very base of the lash line
can create the illusion of fuller lashes.
> Using a pencil liner, draw small dots along lash line; dots
should be slightly smaller toward inner corner of eye and
larger toward outer corner.
> Starting from outer corner of eye, connect dots along lash
line and use a cotton swab to blend gently, or smudge with a
deeper shade of shadow to set.
Mascara
Mascara is more prone to cause bacterial infection than any
other cosmetic, so replace yours when you fi rst start treatment
and keep replacing it every month during treatment. Refrain
from pumping the wand in the tube — this dries out mascara
and may introduce bacteria.
1 Hold an eyebrow pencil
against outside bottom corner
of nose and align it to inside
corner of eye. This is where
eyebrow should begin — draw
a dot on the brow bone.

Eyebrows To determine where your brow should begin, arch and end:
2 To determine placement of
arch, place pencil parallel to
outside of iris (the coloured part
of your eye) and draw a dot.

bottom corner of nose past
outside corner of eye and draw
EASY ON THE EYES
If your eyes are sensitive
and/or your lashes are fragile
(dry, brittle or sparse), avoid
waterproof mascara. Choose
a regular water-soluble
formula and use a gentle
eye-makeup remover.
Mascara applied to only the
upper lashes will have an
uplifting effect, especially if
your eyes are small, or you
have deep shadows and/or
under-eye puffi ness.
